This is the home page of Shelley J. Reece, fantasy and science-fiction author.

She is the author of Magecraft, which was listed at #40 in the Best Indie Books of 2016/2017, and the prequel, Magecraft: Choices. She also worked as a contributing writer in the Imperial Odyssey universe.

She lives in Redondo Beach, California, but was born and raised in the wilds of Wales. She attended UC Berkeley, studying archaeology and the representation of the stories of past human beings. Combining the role of the storyteller in archaeology with her love for the forgotten, ancient, magical lands of Celtic legend, she seeks to inject a sense of the imaginary into the every day word, exploring the human condition in a setting of “mythic realism.”
